Hiram Defeats Volleyball Team 3-0

Katie Hause collected 10 kills against Hiram

Ada, Ohio -- The volleyball team fell to 0-2 on the season after a 3-0 (16-30, 21-30, 25-30) loss to Hiram at the Ohio Northern Invitational. Junior Katie Hause (St. Mary's/Colorado Springs, Colo.) led the Bombers with 10 kills and seven digs in the loss.

Junior Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) recorded 11 digs and eight kills, while classmate Mary Schaefer (Eden/Eden) recorded a team-high 19 digs. Junior Jenna Yehl (Horseheads/Horseheads) led Ithaca with 21 assists.

The Bombers will close out the Ohio Northern Invitational with two matches Saturday. Ithaca will face #19 Mount Saint Joseph at 11:15 a.m. and Carnegie Mellon at 1:15 p.m.
